It depends on the project, but a custom retail package can take anywhere from 3-9 months to design, fabricate tooling, run prototypes, and finalize the design for a production run.
How can I make my packaging more sustainable?
A few ways to make your packaging more sustainable are to increase your recycled PET content (like our EcoStar post-consumer recycled material), decrease the thickness or depth of your plastic packaging to reduce overall consumption, ensure your packaging is 100% recyclable, and clearly label recycling instructions.
What can I do with an existing design package?
What you can do with an existing custom retail design may depend on a few factors, like if you own the tooling or patent, if you can reuse that design with another manufacturer, etc. Our design team can take an existing design and modify it to suit your needs (and make improvements to the current design, too).
