Madison, WI (Feb. 1, 2010) — Placon Corporation, a plastic extruder and thermoformer, officially announces the launch of their new website, www.ecostarplastics.com.
Since the introduction of EcoStar™ extruded rollstock in 2008, Placon has seen considerable growth and interest in its line of PET packaging materials. There are currently seven different PET materials available and depending on the request, modification can be made to create a customized material.
Laura Stewart, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, describes her enthusiasm with the new website: “I am very pleased to have a website that specifically represents EcoStar™ extruded PET rollstock in addition to Placon’s corporate site. It provides our customers with a direct information source on all our materials. Our PET family has grown over the past two years and now we have everything from print grade APET with perfect clarity to 85% recycled content and even a line of PET that can be heat sealed. We offer the material solution for any packaging need.”
These products not only represent Placon’s ongoing commitment to the environment through industry-leading materials, but also the company’s long history and experience in meeting new market demands. For samples of the materials, specific material data and ordering information, call Placon at 800-541-1535, or visit www.ecostarplastics.com.
